Weight Loss Journey Update With Raw Food Diet, Diabetes, Pcos, Crossfit
This is an update. I talk about what has given me inspiration and motivation (see links below) for weight loss. I have been following a “mostly” raw food diet and tomorrow will start a beginner’s…

I think you are amazing. Raw food diet is something I strongly believe in & know a lot about. I try and try and try to eat only raw food but I can’t even go one day! It takes the utmost inner strength.P.S. ET’s have the technology to turn you off or stop you in time and space. They abduct people anywhere!

it’s hard, and a journey for sure. and yes, you have to try different things to see what works for YOU. everyone’s bodies are different. and everyone will lose and gain weight differently. i heard a quote once and i’ve been living by it ever since. “when you TRY, you leave the option for failure. if you want to DO something, you have to DO it!” people need to stop making excuses for not taking care of their bodies. it’s not worth it. eating healthy is MUCH more fulfilling. keep up the progress!!
just some added inspiration if you’re looking: in a nut shell.. i’ve always been a bigger girl. at my heaviest i was 270. borderline diabetic at that time. wanted a baby and had to lose weight to have one. lost 50. got pregnant right away. got back up to 276 and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. after the baby, i kept up the weight loss. eating right/exercise. have lost 90 pounds so far. started RAW and never felt better! i love this lifestyle!! blood sugar is LOWER! :0}
How long did it take you to lose 90lbs?
well like i said before, everyone is different. it might take you 5 months to lose just 10 pounds, and it might take someone those 5 months to lose 50. it all depends on your metabolism and how you eat and your efforts in working out. when you’re first starting out anything new, you’ll definitely see results. if you keep it up. and the heavier you are, the more you will lose. i was 270 at the time, it took me just under 5 months to lose my first 50 pounds. all i did was cut out fast food and….
started to exercise.. but very little. i was using a stability ball. then i started to change some more things about my eating habits. and exercised a little harder, using weights. lost some more. then started p90x, lost 20 more. i’ve been at a weight loss plateau for a year now. but it took me a little over a year to lose the 90. the people on the biggest loser can lose that in the first 10 weeks. but they are working out all day and are on super strict diets. i have to think realistically…..
i am a stay at home mommy. so i have the advantage of working out in the privacy of my own home. i rebooted the way i think about food and made it a chore. that’s all it is. you have to eat to lose, but it has to be all the right things. as far as working out, i try to move everyday. even if it’s for 10 minutes. it’s something. i do p90x and insanity. look them up. i totally recommend them. but they are crazy! lol. best of luck! hope this has helped.
